Puerto Princessa, Palawan, The Philippines

Princesses could not be further from the truth. Maybe they named it such as a joke baring in mind anyone that arrives here from the port drags their un-showered, un-brushed hair and un-cleaned teeth off a two-day boat. In other words looking anything but princess like. Having not eaten a proper meal for four days our priorities were breakfast.shower.wifi. We found them all in the lovely Banwa Art House hostel. It had the most exciting menu in the world, well, for the easily pleased. Things like muesli, pancakes and Lipton tea, in its gorgeous bamboo restaurant. The town itself is pretty average. It has some odd blue church visible from the port that is presumable where the Princessa lives, as it looks pure Disneyland. We stay only long enough to buy a permit for the Subterranean River National Park.

An.an.tas.in : The Anantasin is the name of a shipwreck just of the coast of the Sensi Parasise, Mae Haad Bay, Koh Tao, Thailand. It’s one of my many favorite places.

Lit.tle: Just because it’s cute.
