Pic of the week: Tanjong Pagar Old Train Station

Singapore's beautiful old central station. Abandoned since June 2011 & now haunting with nostalgia.

Definitely Edna. A friend and I took one of our first backpacking trips from there years ago & I’ve loved it ever since! I received many odd looks nosing around there with a camera Saturday morning! It still has beautiful vintage posters of ‘Visit Bangkok’ hanging outside, but it looks kind of sad now gated up. I hope they decide to restore it revive it one day :)

Good lord, has it been nearly two years already? I took a trip out of this station in April 2011 specifically because it was about to close soon (went to Taman Negara in Malaysia). Man time flies.

An.an.tas.in : The Anantasin is the name of a shipwreck just of the coast of the Sensi Parasise, Mae Haad Bay, Koh Tao, Thailand. It’s one of my many favorite places.
